| Saturday, April 5 was an international day of service by the family of Kiwanis Clubs on Kauai: The Key Clubs of Kauai High and Kapaa High Schools and the Kiwanis Club of Kauai. Over 40 people gathered at Nawiliwili Park in the morning and cleaned up the park, the near by roads and the Small Boat Harbor. Matson Lines was the big donor of money and a truck to transport the garbage to the Kekaha Landfill. Lunch of pizza and cookies was enjoyed by all the exhausted participants. The donated money will be used for scholarships to Key Club seniors given at a Kiwanis meeting in May. |
